Be Alert n Have a Tention-free Life...is d funda-no 5 of Healthy-Life-Style

Hi Dears,
These days V all R leading a very busy-bee-like Life-style...
though it is good in a way, it also has it's side-effects...
so today's funda is for Tension-free-living...
some precautions R to be taken for that to happen in reality,
They R...

V use all sorts of electronic gadgets, surely they R fun to use but at d same time V need to take some precautions to safe guard our lives as well as d lives of our beloved-ones n also our precious-little-fortunes that V go on collecting n adding all d time like Ants, to better our lives...

Friends, here r some actual incidents, that can happen to Any body, Any where at Any time in d Universe...

While using Mobile-Phones,I never thought of this.......

1) First-Incident with mobile-phones!

I know one lady through my friend...
this lady is fond of collecting number of money-purses. Once she was traveling in a train as usual n kept her hand-bag along with her other shopping-bags on d rack in d compartment.
When she got ready to get down, she found her handbag was missing...
she inquired in vain but nobody was interested in her sob story n d compartment was overly crowded for any body to spare their attention even for a moment...
Feeling totally helpless, she got down n made a written complaint at d station about d incident.
she was worried bcoz her new mobile phone, her wallet with some cash, her First-class season-pass of Railways, her credit card n many other important things were lost...

Half-an-hour-later she gathered some courage n called her hubby n narrated d entire story of stolen hand-bag...

When she told him from a pay phone what exactly had happened, hubby says, "I received your text asking about our Pin number n I've replied a little while ago."....

She was totally frightened to know this from her hubby...
When they both rushed down to d bank, d bank staff told them all d money was already withdrawn! D thief had actually used d stolen cell phone to text 'hubby' in the contact list n got hold of d
pin number!
Within 20 minutes he had withdrawn all d money from their bank account....

Moral of d lesson:

1)Do not disclose d relationship between U and d people in your contact list.

2)Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby, Sweetheart, Dad, Mom,Sis, Bro etc....

N Most Importantly,
3)when sensitive info is being asked through texts, CONFIRM by calling back promptly.

Also, when you're being text by friends or family to meet them somewhere, however busy U might be, please
4)be sure to call back to confirm that the message came from them.

If you don't reach them,
5)be very careful about going places to meet 'family and friends' who text you.

After that incident, d lady has learnt d lesson of her life!
Now she has changed her habit of how she lists d names on her mobile phone, after d incident of her stolen handbag n emptied bank account!

One thing is sure, V  need to be more careful....

This gives us something to think about with all our new electronic technology...If V handle it carelessly, it could turn out to be dangerous !!

2)Second-Incident...GPS

A couple of weeks ago a friend told me that someone she knew from south Mumbai, had their car broken into while they were at a Cricket-match...
Their car was parked on the green which was adjacent to the stadium n specially allotted to VIPs to park their vehicles.
Things stolen from the car included a
garage door remote control, some money n a GPS which had been prominently mounted on d dashboard.

When d victims got home, they found that their house had been ransacked n just about everything worth anything had been stolen....

D thieves had used d GPS to guide them to d house!
They then used d garage remote control to open d garage door n gain entry to d house!
D thieves very well knew that d owners were at d stadium,
watching a cricket-match...

Thus they knew what time d game was scheduled to finish..
so they knew how much time they had on their hand to
clean out d house!
It appeared that they had brought a truck
to empty d house off its valuable contents!

Some Important things to consider if U have a GPS -
1)Don't put your home address in it. Instead put a nearby address (like a store or some shop)
so one can still find d way home if one needs to, but no one else would know
where exactly U live if your GPS were stolen.

Moral of d story-
a)don't take modern technology lightly...
b)study the features thoroughly before U start using it!
A stitch in time saves Nine...
c)Be careful n watchful when U use d new gadgets...

Friends, all good things Remain good till V take 'good' care of them!
Little lapse on our part can give us lot of tention...
So let us Not Allow them to destroy our peace of mind any-which-way!
Let us be more Alert...

This is Tima wishing U all,
              A Tentionless, Joyful life...
