Open UR Inner Eyes n Experience d 'Divine-Smile'....

Dear Friends, Today am going to share my brand-new experience with all of U… Yesterday I was going to Thane for some urgent work….. As my driver was absent n I had pity in my heart for all d pedestrians from Goregaon to Thane, I controlled my eager hands to hold d steering n drive d new car, which is very very 'special' to me, Bcoz it is a B'day gift to me from my dear sons! Also I didn't want to 'risk' d lives of all d beings who might be at danger due to my GR8-driving skills! With a deep-sigh, I hopped in a Rick n started my boring travel! At d corner, there is a signal for fly-over… Generally 99 out of 100 times, d entire road, right from d gate of my residential building, up to d signal, is completely choked up! Then slowly with d pace of a tortoise, V crawl to d signal… it takes at least 15 minutes if V r lucky n if it is not a good day, it could take 20-25 minutes! For UR kind information, a healthy normal person, Can walk d same distance little less than 5 minutes! Once V reach d signal, it takes another 5 to 10 minutes to get d right-side-signal-green! Then V face d totally packed fly-over, with all types of vehicles! From heavy to light all types, U just name n they surely will be waiting for UR eyes only! Trucks, road-rollers, vehicle-carriers, dirt-waste-removers, Mercs, Hondas,Maruties, Toyotas n all other brands of luxury, semi-luxury, sports-vehicles… then there will be autos, cabbies, tempos, metadors… Hand-Pulled-carts,veggies-fruits-carts, bicycles, two-wheelers… N some times if V R (un)lucky, even bullock-carts! If V r lucky, there would not be Police-Bandobast… But if it's a nightmarish day, only one lane would be open n there would so-called-checking of each-n-every vehicle.. to make it worst-day-of-life! After repeating this experience at 3 more signals, one can reach d high-way! This shows how bad is d infra-structure of this so-called-commercial-capital of d country! Yesterday, when I was at d very-first signal, a familiar-face appeared… he is a 28 years old, stout, short, handicapped person… his body is as per his age... while his hands R like a child! Their growth is stunted… he is a fixture at this signal! He will come n stand near d vehicle n stare at U… though he is a beggar, he would not exactly demand money or any thing but wait for attention… Generally I carry some fruits or biscuits, nuts in my 'big' purse… Whenever somebody like him arrive, I prefer to give them edibles… but that day in a hurry, I totally forgot to carry anything while leaving home! while waiting at d 'signal', couple of hawkers were selling roasted-pea-nuts n Ganna i.e. Sugar-cane cut into small pieces... But i was soo worked up, i had no mood to pay any attention to all that! Later when he came, i was regretting... For not buying those things from hawkers! There was an instant when i saw him coming, towards me, i just wanted to avoid him... i even prayed that d signal becomes Green, before his arrival may be i was un-knowingly feeling 'guilty' for not able to give him any thing worth-eating! Later seeing me, he gave a kind-of 'Salute' with his-tiny-hand, with a nice-smile of "Recognition" on his face…. I was quite stunned…bcoz that smile had literally 'lit' his complete face! It really had changed his face soo much! It was a very-happy-face of a very young person! He was looking like some 20-year-old youth! He gave a recognizing nod n showed surprise to find me in an auto... i did not say anything but gestured that next time i will bring something interesting to eat, for him... He in return showed understanding movement of his head n continued to smile happily... His smile had changed my mood, completely! Before he appeared, i was kind-of-worked-up due to traffic n also due to d idea of reaching late for d meeting! Now i said to myself... if this poor-soul can smile soo brightly, forgetting his handicapped deformity n all adverse conditions due to that deformity, reaching late due to traffic is a very trivial thing to mess with me n my cool-mood! His smile was as if d God's smile! So innocent...so infectious! In our walk of life, V meet so many beings.... Some times there R some very friendly, animals, birds, plants n trees whom V meet or interact accidentally.... Or some times i wonder, if they may be 'destined' to meet us that way, on that particular day, at some particular place? Last month on Maha-Shivratri-day, in d evening i had attended 'Satsang' n 'Rudra-Pooja' It was at Goregaon east..it was a very beautiful experience.... Although it was big gathering, must say, it was very well-organized! D chanting of d Mantras n singing of 'Bhajan' was soo involving... Everybody present there was like, beautifully merged into 'One-ness'...of "Shiva-Tatva"! Music was totally Divine.... When i entered d Venue, it was pre-planned... that i must leave, after 1hour or at d max after,1 n half-hours... But in reality, nobody was aware of d time-factor! D involvement, was soo high... every other thing just melted away... As if Nothing was really 'Existing'' other than "Shivoaham...." n 'D Naad-Brahma'!! Though d function was not over, i realized my duties, patiently waiting for me, at home! Then i took 'Prasad' n left d venue... I was feeling so light, as if i was 'weight-less'... My mind was ecstatic.... There was a 'spring' in my step! I felt like, 'Nature'-in-all-it's-Totality, was with me... While walking out of venue, like a reflex-action, i had phoned d driver... Outside it was slightly dark, due to late hours... n i was waiting for d driver to bring d car from d parking lot... That time apparently from no-where, 2 nos of street-dogs came n stood near me! They were vehemently wagging their tails n were showing their 'friendliness' towards me... When i closely saw them, they were a couple, one male n d other a female... when looked into their eyes, they were trying to express 'some thing' to me! I thought they must be hungry, n expecting some food, from me... i was carrying only 'Kaju-katli' n d 'prasad' that i had collected from d venue! I had absolutely nothing else to offer... My mind was skeptical, about feeding 'sweet' things, full of 'Ghee-n-suger' to them... fearing that should not do any harm to them! But bcoz of their 'eager-ness', i fed them with whatever i had, except a little portion for my sons! They readily ate d sweet-things from me... While eating, they showed happiness by circling n jumping with joy! After eating also they remained with me... with very expressive eyes n wagging tails! I felt very help-less bcoz of my un-ability to understand their language! Even i mumbled this to them... Even today, my sons have gala-time imagining, how some 'on-looker' would have reacted to that scene of, me mumbling with them..... makes them feel totally "embarrassed"! To their embarassment, am quite 'neutral' bcoz only i know my, bond-with-all-beings! In d mean time d driver arrived with d car, n i hopped in d car, waving a hand to both of my "friends"-for giving me such a "Divine" company when i needed... So my dear friends, now pl tel me, wot is UR take on this real-life-experience? According to me, these R d things which make our life 'Richer' in true sense of d word! Am sure if V keep our mind n d 'Inner-Eyes' open, V can 'witness' such events.... This is Tima, wishing U, all wonderful things...
