Today i want to remember some really
GR8 women personalities...
In ancient days V all know, that men
used
to over-power
women..
they almost treated them as their
private-property
to flaunt them as a show-piece,
to use n to abuse them as per
their whims
or
so-called-moods!
In short, d women were reduced almost to
d level of mere
'slaves'...
V all know that Shlok...
Ahalya, Draupadi, Sita, Tara, Mandodari Tathaa|
"Panch-Kanya-Smare-Nityam"||
Why only these five ladies should be
remembered....
Here is d reason...
First one is named, Ahalya or Ahilya,
who had a
curse,
that she will remain to be a Rock
until
Prabhu RamaChandra's Avataar
makes her alive!
In modern view point, V can explain this
as
a woman abandoned by
her angry, furious but powerful
husband
for apparently no-fault-of-hers!
Then he regrets his words-of-curse n
declares a 'Prayahschitta'-
d-remedy-to-d-curse...
It is said that, in d 'Ram-avatar'
when d God would appear, he would rescue
this poor-soul
from
d 'jail-of-Punishment'
n then she would be a free to do whatever
she wanted to do!
From stationery state of rock to be a
living-free-soul!
In d 'bargain' she will be 'worshipped',
by up-coming generations of future,
for her proven-"loyalty"
or
so-called-faithfulness towards her
husband!
D worst part is that, she had NO option
but to weep n blame her
so-called-ill-Fate!
What a shame...
Next comes d famous lady bcoz of
whom
epic 'Maha-Bharat' happened
in reality!
Her name is 'Draupadi'!
She was d daughter of king Drupad
hence d name...
She was famous for her beauty!
In her very original 'Swayamvar',
Arjuna in d disguise of a Brahmin,
came forward to win her hand,
by accurately,
fulfilling d condition of d Swayamvar!
It's a different story altogether...
now that likes of
Raakhi Sawant n Rahul Mahajan
R also having so-called-Swayamvars
on d
National Television!
Draupadi was a wealthy n beautiful-princess,
she was immensely happy to have a
brave-bright-brilliant-warrior Arjuna,
as her husband!
But her happiness was very short-lived....
She was declared Not-as-a-wife-of-Arjuna
but
an 'Alm'-received-on- that-day!!
Without seeing what they R refering to,
Kunti d mother of 5-Pandavas,
declared
that they all should divide n share d alms!!
Unable to dis-obey(!) his mother,
Arjuna compeled Draupadi
to get shared as a common(!) wife
of
all-five-brothers-called-
What a height-of-cruelty!
What a pity, that d lady in question
had No freedom
of Choice,
either to oblige or refuse....
I totally sympathize with Draupadi,
for d kind-of-exploitation
she had suffered, all her life
due to
her cunning mother-in-law, Kunti!
It makes me wonder,
why a woman Can Not understand or Feel d 'pain-n-insult'
felt-by-another-woman,
who is just-like a
daughter to her!
There can't be any bigger 'Tragedy'
than this one!
Poor Draupadi's torture was un-ending...
Later, she was 'lost'(!) in a gamble-game...
Then she was literally 'dragged' from
her room
to
d King-Duryodhana's Court...
n then got more insulted
by trying to
pull her Saree
in front of
All-of-her-Five-husbands!!
God Krishna, who was like a brother
to her,
helped her 'womanhood'...
n saved her
from d clutches of
mighty Duryodhan, Duhshasana,
Karna n others...
Draupadi's entire life is
full of Humiliation,injustice-torture-pain-n-
Then comes Sita, who was
again a beautiful-princess n daughter
of
king called Janak.
Hence also called
'Janaki'!
She was blessed with some
spiritual-powers.....!
due to which she could
lift d Bow of God-Shiv!
D bow, called "Shiv-Dhanushya"
was so heavy..
that very strong n mighty kings also
could not do,
what Sita could do in her
child-hood!
Such was Sita's
silent-power-of-spirituality!
Sensing her hidden power,
her father decided
that d person who could break this
very "Shiv-dhanushya",
only would marry Sita...
Eventually 'prince charming'-Prabhu-Ram
arrived at d 'Swayamvar' of sita,
in d disguise of a disciple
of rishi,...
He very easily lifted n broke d
"Shiv-dhanushya"
to win her hand!
Then PrabhuRam returned with Sita to
Ayodhya, his home-town!
Little later Sita opted to go
with Ram for,
'Van-vaas' meaning living-in-jungle
for 12-full-years!!
During 'Van-vaas',
she got kidnapped by mighty
king of Sri-Lanka,
Ravan...
when she was grief-striken,
at Lanka's jungle as a 'Jail-bird',
her husband Sri-Ram was sad
n waiting to attack Lanka,
n to bring back Sita
from Ravan's clutches...
Ultimately he defeated mighty
Ravan,
n successfully returned his
beautiful-wife-Sita...
When he learnt that she was
pregnant n expecting
a heir for d kingdom of Ayodhya...
One washer-man expresses dis-trust..!
on d Queen-Sita's clean-charecter!
Sri-Ram ordered his younger-brother-Laxman
to leave pregnant-Sita,
to jungles!!
in due course of time, she gave birth to twin-sons, namely
Lav-n-Kush,
at Valmiki Rishi's Aashram,
in jungle...
Lav n Kush got all d training from
Rishi
to become GR8 warriors
like their father, Ram!
In "Ashwa-Medh" Yadnya, these two tiny
warriors fought with
d entire battalion of King-Ram's
army...
n then d defeated army,
went back to report to d King-Ram...
Surprised-curious-n-equally-
Ram himself,
arrived to fight n defeat
d tiny warriors...
Sita became very tense to learn d
turns of d events..
n especially with this new
development!
Where d mighty-father-Ram would
fight
with his very-own brave-sons-
Lav-n-Kush...
Whoever wins or loses, One thing was
inevitable...
that,
Sita would never be Happy with d
out-come...
she would be facing 'total-Defeat'
at d hands of either her husband,
who had Ruth-lessly,'deserted' her,
during her pregnancy,when she
most-needed his company!
Or at d hands of her sons,
who had Never seen or met their
real-father-Ram!!
Sita was completely 'cornered' by
her fate...
she tried hard to stop d
meeting,
without giving details of her past,
fearing of spoiling,
'prestigious image' of her mighty
husband in d process!
What a mockery!
Under such horrible conditions
also,
d poor-lady was
caring for
her husband's Name-n-Fame!!
At d end Ram came to know about his
departed(?) sons!!!
He accepted them as his
lawful heirs to d kingdom of Ayodhya...
He showed readiness(!) to take back,
their-mother-Sita,
as a queen of Ayodhya...
Only after she had cleared
d test of,"Agni-Divya"!!
n proved her 'innocence'!!
This time for once Sita exhibited her
'inner-strength'
n REFUSED his
so-called-generous(!)
"proposal"!!
Instead she requested, pleaded n urged
her-mother-Earth,
to take her back, in her lap...
(n die)!!!
Hats off to this Great Lady Sita...
Ram had to serve d 'sentence' of Van-vaas
for only 12 years!
While Sita had to spend rest of her life
in Van-vaas only!
In d entire mythology, Puranas, Vedas,
Shastras etc,
there is
No Parallel to Sita!
Friends, according to many,
She is Even
Greater-n-mightier
than
her mighty n famous husband,
God-SriRam!
One such believer is me!

She holds Happiness in her heart n
emits love....
She holds opinions n controls d
power...
She Can smile when she feels like
'screaming'
She is capable of singing when
in reality she might be
'crying' from within!
when very happy, she cries with
d feelings of 'Gratitude'....
When she is scared of something,
she will laugh d fear away...
One aspect of hers is like a
'pole-star'..
Her love is Un-conditional!
Apparently there is only one thing
which seems to be so-called-
Wrong...
Some times she forgets about her own 'worth'...

D GR8 God-Shiv is,

Tip of d day-
There R some veggitables which should be eaten in 'raw-form'
to get maximum vitamins n minerals from them.
One such veggie is-
1) Carrots- For maximum vit-A from them, wash thoroughly n
eat them raw as a salad or as a 'Kachumber' by finely grating
n adding 1-pinch of rock salt, n dash of Lemon-juice.
Pl note that grating should be done just before consumption.
U can enjoy 'Gajar-Halava' Only once in a week, while U should
have raw carrots Every day!
Daily-quota of Vitamin A is required for better-Eye-sight.
