Valentine's Day of Divine-Love...

Dear All,
14th of Feb, was d 'Valentine's Day!
So how did U spend d 'Valentine's Day?
With whom?
what is UR idea of 'Valentine's Day'?
Is it 'meant' Only for teen-agers or young-couples?
Do U know or care to know, who was this 'Valentine',
whose name is remembered on this day...

Friends, U all must be wondering,
why am i acting like a 'Paresh Raval' in some comedy-Hindi-movie......going on bombarding
question after question!

I guess, generally people R not interested
in any-kind-of-details,
they just enjoy d 'Holiday-mood'........
D common-man's feelings about d 'Valentine's Day,
R very limited...
Plan UR day, with UR fiance or fiancee...
Buy some nice gifts, go out for lunch or dinner,
exchange gifts-n-feelings-of-love for each other...
Book tickets in advance of some movie or play,
then enjoy d same together..
Book in advance n go to hill-station,
have nice change from routine, n that too
with UR special-one!
Options R many but pattern is almost fixed...
it seems to be an out-n-out celebration
For would-be-couples or present-couples n No-One else!

Well d Real Celebration of 'Valentine's Day,
is Not Only for couples....
N age is just a number, so No-Age-Bar...

Frankly,it is all about d Bond between d-souls...
It could be delicate bond of ANY-relation....
It could be Celebration of 'Bond-of-Love' but
Not necessarily d bond of physical-love...
D involvement could be far above-d-normal-level...
on Higher-plane-of-Subtle-Level!

In Indian-Culture, d feeling-of-so-called-Love,
has different n definite shades...

D love of Radhaa for Krishna....
D love of Meera for Krishna...
D love of Rama for his father,Dasharath...
D love of Mother-Kaushalya for Rama...
D love of Rama for brother Laxman...
D love of Bharath for brother Rama...
D love of deserted-wife-Sita for husband-Rama...
D love of Lav-n-Kush for mother Sita...
D love of Rama for his departed sons...
D love of Rama for his subjects...
D love of Jeejabai for her son Shivaji n
grand-sons Sambhaji n Rajaram....
D love between Bhakta Dhruv n his God...
D love-hate feelings of orphans for their
deserted or lost parents...
D love between Satyavaan n his-wife-Savitri
who fought with Yama-d-king-of-death,
to bring back her almost-dead husband....
D love of Ekalavya for his Guru, Dronacharya...
D love of Guru Drona for his favourite-desciple-Arjun
D love-hate feelings of Karna for Kunti n Pandavas...
D love of 'very-old-n-waiting-Shabari' for God-Rama...
D Subtle-Bond-of-Love between King-Nala-n-Damayanti....
D love between very young,Bhakta Prahlad n
his God, Narayan...
D Bond of dedication-n-love between Queen Laxmibai,
her very-young-adopted-son & her kingdom of 'Zanshi'
For d love-of-freedom,she fought till death,tieing-n-carrying her child, to d battle-field!
V all know d symbol of love between brother-n-sister which is 'Raksha-Bandhan'...

Combinations R thousands...
but d-bond-of love is d Common-Factor!
D delicate-feelings
R beyond any typical-measures of 'Love'!

Surely, there is love of Purest-Quality
but this love is Not-limited-to-any-type-of-physicality....
It's a blend of Mixed feelings like sacrifice, devotion,loyalty...

There R all types of love-bonds, fatherly-motherly-brotherly-sisterly n
last but not d least, Divine love-bond...
Between d Self n d Being....
Between d Whole n d part...

World of love, surely is not restricted
to relations of male-female or
husband-wife or boy-n-girl...

Valentine was a saint....
His love was for entire man-kind....
He is a symbol of True-Love!

So Let us remember him with Love n Action...
Let us Love OUR neighbour, (even if he or she may or may not be 'lovely'...pun intended)
Let us Love n protect OUR trees...
Let us Love n care OUR pets....n all other animals.
Let us Love OUR parents...
They may not tell Us in so-many-words but
They Do need OUR love-n-care!
Let us Love OUR siblings...
V can't be complete without them!
Let us Love n take care of d spouse....n follow d 'Vow'
Let us Love OUR kids....They need
All OUR attention-love-n-care for their Normal-healthy-growth.
Let us Love OUR Grand-parents. Period.
In short Let us love Everybody....

Love is d Only thing in d world which
Multiplies after 'giving'!
Feeling-of-Love will surely make US,
Richer in 'Every Possible Sense'...

Let us be kind to ourselves n others...
From next year onwards, let us celebrate
Valentine's Day with this 'New-Zeal-n-Perspective'!
