| Date -24-01-2010 Money n Modesty.....Usually never go hand-in-hand....... People with money, don't earn only money...but along with Monies comes name & sort-of-fame....n 'Money-Game which is non-ending like a game of "Snakes-n-Ladder"! At any given time,Either one is swallowed by a huge snake or d one is climbing up d ladder in d (false!)hope of reaching d 'highest'!!...n this goes on n on... Neither d hope (or rather 'greed'), nor d snakes tire!!! D player gets soo involved/entangled in this act of 'swallowing'.... that he can't think of any thing other than "Money-Money"! Friends, Swallowing snakes n swallowing monyies R found every-where.... As per Vedic knowledge, a moneyed-Richie-Rich-Person should be like a tree, fully-loaded with huge number of fruits.....bowing low, without ego or false pride..... Readily offering d fruits to d hungry-thirsty beings......helping them without any expectations of getting d favours, in return! Branches of a tree, bow low when laid with fruits.... They yield fruits and are generally within reach.... In reality, people R just opposite....when laid with money, they become very hostile...more n more stubburn... Whenever n wherever possible, they throw tantrums...they show attitude...N generally they r Not-reachable to d needy 'Janata'/public! They really try hard to show their Money-Power..... But sometimes V R pleasantly surprised...Here is a true story which happened in one of the leading Banks in Stockholm, Sweden. The Bank had two entrances, one opening on to the main street and the other on to the side street. The sidestreet one was at a lower level and anyone entering from that side had to step a raised walk to get into the Bank. There were two gentlemen standing outside the counters in the hall. One was a well clipped guy in a thousand dollar suit and the other grey haired in a casual jacket. They were in conversation... A lady with a pram tried to enter the Bank through the side entrance... Naturally she was struggling due to the raised walk and helplessly looked at the two gentlemen... The clipped guy went on with his conversation as if he had not seen d lady with d pram .... whereas the old guy realising the lady's trouble, went over and helped the lady to enter into the Bank.... After collecting the cash, the lady commented to the clipped guy, that the service of the Bank was much better than she had imagined.... N d Bank did help the customers, when required! obviously referring to the problem she had...with d pram n d raised platform! Then the old man commented....." My dear young lady, this young guy is the Executive President of the Bank, n may not be able to pay attention to each n every customer; but I cannot possibly afford to do that, simply bcoz I own the Bank. N I truely beleive that Every Cusomer is d KING ...." Lesson for us to be learnt: 1) Do not be a mere spectator....act promptly, if U really beleive in UR own principles.... 2) Act/help in a way or style, that U might want others to do....if U were in need of help... OM Namo Bhagavate Vishvamurtaye Narayanay Namah || Tip of d day- for UR daily quota of Iron...... Eat preferably in d morning, Roasted Channa & Jaggery(Gud), (50 grams) Each This is Tilottama, wishing U all a GR8 n Healthy Day.... |
